hi i sold someone 2 Motorola maxtac radios and i believe he is going to use them for a repeater. he needs to lower the tx power and he said he cant get it to go down on one radio its at 50 +/- w he said that the radio is taking frequencys fine when programing. just the power issue. i am not to familiar with Motorola. i mess with more kenwood. i would like to help him if anyone has encountered this problem or may know what to do i would appreciate the advice or help. thank you.
update this is what he said," IM TRYING TO GO DOWN TO 35 WATTS ON MY BIRD WATT METER..IT DOES IT ON THE COMPUTER BUT WHEN I TRY TO USE IT OFF THE COMPUTER IT READS OVER 50 WATTS"
