Why do basketball people insist on messing up sports terms? For example, a field goal is a football term not a basketball term. Why don't they coin a new term for a 3-point basket?
In addition to field goal, I heard one women ESPN announcer use the terms "baseball pitch" and "home run" in a basketball game! She also the one likes to drag out the end of some words like Irishhhhhh.
Also, in my opinion, I think when a player hangs from the basketball hoop it should be a foul. If they want something to hang from, we'll find them some trees!
