TK-7180/8180 with single VHF antenna

This may be a dumb question to some but here goes nothing. Does anyone know what would happen if i connected a 7180 and 8180 to a NMO VHF antenna? I would be using a duplexer like the one in the link below. My goal is to get away with using the (one) antenna i already have for both radios.
