It's my understanding this is the situation for my unit:
ID SEARCH lets you hear ALL active talk groups.
ID SCAN lets you hear only the talk groups you have entered.
So why on the Motorola II system I just programmed do I get hits under Id Scan that I have NOT programmed into any lists talk group ids? When this happens, I get very clear voice, but nothing displays identifying its source. I just want to use Id Scan to monitor the ids I've put into various lists within the bank.
