La Paz County

I took a drive out to Quartzsite Thursday.

YRCS activity:

621 Encrypted

625 Police - Dispatcher clear, mobiles encrypted

645 Encrypted

662 Fire Dispatch - Dispatch clear, I don't think I heard any mobile units.

663 ?

712 Encrypted

713 Encrypted

1109 ADOT Enforcement, usual activity.

1115 ADOT Yuma region. Sounded like someone coming on shift, stating what vehicle he was in. No other activity.

Other:

154.400 Countywide Fire Dispatch. Weak, unreadable signal. I don't recall the CTCSS, maybe 192.8?

154.570 Burger King drive through, order taker only. (Yea, I have MURS/FRS/GMRS programmed into my PRO-43 lol)

461.150 River Medical - DCS 174

460.400 DPS District 4 - CTCSS 100.0

I want to take another drive out sometime, and spend more than an hour and a half out there. If anyone has any more to add, please do.

On the YRCS here in the Valley, I frequently hear TG's 106 and 205. The dispatcher is in the clear on 205, and sounds like police. I haven't tried searching the addresses I hear to determine the city, however.

Edit: 106 is Yuma PD, encrypted, of course. 205 is a simulcast of Yuma County Sheriff's Interop on 158.730, according to the database. It's surprising that I hear either in the Phoenix area. I think they're off the North Mtn site, but I'm not positive.
