For what its worth, the new firmware for the HomePatrol-1 undergoing an open beta test significantly improves the ability of the scanner to handle P25 Simulcast systems. I getting really good hit rates and much improved quality audio decoding compared to previous firmware on the HP-1.



It still helps to have hi-gain 800Mhz antenna to get the best signal.
