On My ARC Programming, It has different BAND PLANS for my 346 and 996xt

ON MY ARC Programming!!!! There are 3 Band plans.. What does Band plan mean, they hay the default 996xt and default 346xt and 3 euro plans. I looked on Marks page and there isn't much inless I missed something!!!
