Yaseu, Icom, Kenwwood SDR's

I was just looking at the new Yaseu FT-991 coming out this month and I have to wonder when will the Yaseu/Icoms's of the world come out with a true SDR radio. Or a radio with knobs that can also be an SDR,



I guess I should be happy that in 2015 that I can at least buy a new radio that I can use one USB cable for TX/RX/Audio and control.



I'm sure SDR is a small market but I would think its a growing market, nothing more then a gut feeling on my part.
