Is there anything that can decode P25 Phase 2?

Our county switched to a APCO P25 Phase II system in October. While Unitrunker can monitor the control channel and I can discern that only law enforcement is encrypted/protected, it would be a fun project to try to decode the Fire / EMS and any other Misc traffic on the airwaves just to see if it can be done.

I was confused and thought DSD+ could do this, but after many attempts of only getting lots of scrolling text in the command prompt that looked like gibberish to me, I missed one detail. The system is P25, but there are two flavors of P25, Phase 1 and Phase 2, which I did not know (Gee why didn't they call it P26 instead of making it so confusing!).

So is there another program out there or do you know if its on DSD+ development roadmap? The DSD Wiki on this site says P25 Phase 2 standard is not finalized yet, so is that outdated information or is my county using an unfinished standard? The closest thing I can find is the OP25 project: OP25 But that is pretty complicated compared to something like DSD+.

Do you think P25 Phase 2 will end up like OpenSky and never be able to be heard?
