I know this is not nessesarly for Ohio, but since I was not really sure where to post it, I figured I might ask people from around the area I live.
What is a PL tone? What does it do/what is it used for?
Take Euclid Fire Ch 1 for example, 424.275 with a PL of 110.9, does that mean the radio has to have a PL tone programmed into it for it to transmit to the other radios? I looked in the Wiki and really didn't find anything that could explain it to me. Any help would be great.
