Multiple questions, not sure where to post

Hi all,

i have a Uniden BC75XLT handheld scanner,i use it indoors with an radio shack outdoor antenna, its the large "discone?" antenna.they work well together, but for awhile i was getting alot of squelch on one of my fav channels,151.325 incase that maters, but i was told to put an antenna booster on it,but for the life of me i cant find one for BNC,and for outdoor...can it be indoor real close to the scanner?..or do i need something else?..BTW a better description of what ive got going is several distance feeds?.will be sketchy..im trying to say it will boost the reception...this is what i was told..whew..lol..any truth to it?..

also..i bought a mobile mag-mount antenna from RS ,,i have a hooveround power wheel chair that i use,i mounted on a piece of metal on the chair,it stayed, and it worked....when i stayed still..soon as i started to move,i got electrical feedback sounds...is there a filter or something i can put inline to stop the noise?...like our old jeep,we had a CB,but had to change sparkplug wires to the resistored ones..is there anything i can do to the antenna, radio, inline between them,or to my powerchair itself to stop this ?...id really like to use the radio with better reception than the little black antenna gives me..

Dave
