After someone just posted a question about Comcast still using radios- got me to thinking about some others. Here in Monmouth County- New Jersey American Water was- up until a few years ago using a trunk system- they disappeared from this a while back. Looking at the trucks its tough to figure out if they still have two way equipment or are just using MDT type equipment?
Since American Water is essentially nation wide- with various separate utilities working under the national group its tough to sort out. I've seen other American Water companies who still have the 2-ways, outside of Monmouth.
