Can someone point me to or simply explain the differences in roles between N90 TRACOM and ZNY ARTCC? Not sure I really get how it works. Does ZNY hand off inbound traffic to N90 for final approach (and the reverse for departures)? Is it tied to aircraft altitude or simply distance? Thx.
