BCD436HP Problem writing Profiles from one computer to another with sentinel

Hello all. Here's the deal. I have one profile with about 24 FL's on one computer running windows XP, and when I download it into the scanner everything goes fine. .I also have a laptop running window 8, with it's own sentinel program loaded with almost the exact same data as #1's but not as currently tweaked info wise as #1 Here's my problem. When I attempt to write #1's data into laptop #2 via the scanner I get the new data downloaded, but the original stuff that had been in # 2 is still there as well. Now let me say that I use the "clear all data" tab beforehand and also check the "erase existing favorites lists?" tab before writing when prompted. You may wonder why I bother with this to begin with, but I use the home computer to actively download and arrange existing data and then when I go on the road I transfer all this to the laptop for travel. Hopefully I've gotten my question across without too much confusion, and I bet the answer is right in front of me, but I could use some help finding it. T.I.A. - T.T.
