I have been having some issues with my antenna on my scanner which is a Home Patrol 1. I had the original one replaced with an 800mg antenna. Things worked great until the antenna some how came loose and by me trying to tighten it caused some problems with a connector. After a couple of trips to a fellow that is involved in radios the scanner is not picking-up the calls like it once did. Recently, I replaced the 800 mg antenna with the original one and I will get calls but not the volume before. I have had the recent updates from Uniden and I am thinking about them having a look at it. However, I was wondering if anyone else has noticed the drop in radio traffic from Dearborn Heights, Garden City, Wayne and Westland? Also I have Redford Twp and Wayne County Sheriff programed as well.
