Motorola EX560XLS front housing

I recently dropped my EX560XLS and cracked the bottom of the front housing. I purchased a new front housing and went to change out the front housing but am having trouble getting the radio out of the old housing.



I am able to take the channel selector knob off, but not the volume knob.



Does anyone have any info on how I can extract the radio from the old housing?
