Help with kenwood nx220e

Hi guys



I bought a kenwood NX220E handheld from here in the uk but I,m having trouble programming it , I,m trying to use the kpg141d v1.00 software to read the details out of the radio and the comport settings and cable is correct but I get check model name , market code , and lcd ?



When I click on product information it has the options

NX-220 PORTABLE K

frequency 136-174 MHz

LCD 13 segments





when I hold down the s key on the keypad E 1.05.00 appears on the screen , is this the firmware and if so does that mean I need a cps which is version 1.05 instead ?
