My local government is going to a Harris P25 Phase II trunk-system from an EDACS system, but the new system is not activated yet which I think will have 2 main sites and some simulcast sites.
Will the new system have to have total new talk-groups or used the same talk-groups the EDACS has?
How will the XG-75 and XG-25 radios change over to the P25 system since the radios are already in the field?
Can anyone tell me what the VIDA platforms means and the the digital trunked technology XG75.
