Radio Advice

I hunt in mountainous area I am looking for some good two way radios. I currently use Motorola Talkabouts

their ok but I am looking for something better that is quit when transmitting. It seems that most of the cheaper radio's all make a transit and receive bleep or something and their range is not that great. Any suggestions. P.S. I am not against spending extra money for them
