Hello,
I'm monitoring MPSCS from MSP District 5 (Southwest Michigan). I don't know much about DNR operations and was curious to know if anyone knew how they had their dispatch/radio comm organized. I've noticed that local DNR officers use both RAP2, RAP4, and TWNLK7. I've heard them check into service and receive complaints on all three channels, which confuses the hell out of me. I've also noticed that officers from the MI/IN border all the way up to the UP can be heard using all three channels. So how exactly to they have the dispatch and radio operations organized? I can't figure out the logic to who's using which channel.
Any info would be greatly appreciated. I'm simply curious.
Thanks
