Butel Software For The HP-1 Quest. For Any User

Hello,



Have bought and Registered the Butel software for the HP-1.

Been playing around with it, and Sentinel, and feel I have learned a lot.

But, a lot more to know.



Have a very basic question re what can be done in the Butel software:

It's probably really simple, but just don't see it. Hope I can explain this clearly; will try.



I want to create Favorite List(s) in the Butel software, and then download it to the unit.



For now, I do Not want to Upload any Favorites from the unit, modify it, and the do a download to the unit.



Just some new ones, created solely in Butel.



From the: Scanner HP\Manage Full Database, I can initially load into Butel

the Massachusetts File from the Scanner. Apparently the whole thing.



Then under State Wide: List All and the Conventional Button



Looks promising. All the frequencies appear to be there with a box for checking next to each one.



- Can I now check some of these boxes, and create a Favorites List from them ?

If so, exactly How please ?



- Or, does the Butel software require uploading some already created Favorites Lists from the

Scanner (created by Sentinel), modifying these, and then downloading to the unit ?
