Hi All; Another newbie here. I just purchased a BCD996XT, and a 1 year subscription to Radio Reference. I'm looking forward to wrapping my head around this cool new piece of awesomeness!
I just downloaded freescan and have it configured, and am able to connect to the scanner and even control it using the "Virtual Scanner" interface. So.. I thought I'd try to import some test data to see how it worked. Unfortunately, when I click on File->Import->RadioReference Conventional or RadioReference Trunked, the system fails with an unhandled exception message and boots me out of freescan.
I'm using Win7, and freescan 2.16a as downloaded today. I suspect operator error, but I'll be danged if I can find a happier path through the software.
Can someone direct me to the proper place to provide this error report to freescan, or maybe point me toward that "Happier Path" through the software?
