Possible murder-suicide in the area of Pratt St & 15th Ave. Initial incident sounded like it started out around 2300 as a person who assaulted someone else before running back into their residence. SWAT from both Longmont PD and Boulder SO were notified and responded to the scene.
At some point around 0100, something caused Longmont PD to quickly force entry into the residence where they encountered smoke and gas inside. SWAT quickly cleared the structure and evacuated. I believe there are two Code Black at the scene, one being the suspect and another being a victim. Bomb squad worked to clear the rest of the structure, check on a propane tank located inside, and evaluate the gas levels inside the structure.
I'm not entirely clear on the details of what led up to the call or what led up to making entry on the structure.
