My local police department asked if I could program a mobile for them. I'm normally a Motorola guy, so I don't know a whole lot about Kenwood. I have access to the NX-700/NX-800 software that I can use for this. All they know is that their radios are NexEdge 450-512 40W but they don't know which model they are since they are already mounted in the cars. The only number that can be seen on it is 18560.
Is there any way to know if the 700/800 software will work with them? I haven't looked at the radios personally yet, this is just the information that was given to me. Thanks for any help!
