I will be making a trip to the Evansville area in the upcoming days, and will have my HP-1 scanner with me this time.
Last time I was in EVV Area, ISP was still on VHF-Low Band, and Warrick Co was still VHF-High band.
Looking at the data base I already know to listen to ISP I need the Project SAFE-T ( Motorola) towers for in Gibson, Warrick, Posey, Vanderburgh, and Henderson counties along with the talk groups I want to listen to get everything.
Looking at the data base I already know to listen to EPD/VSO/EFD I will need to put there EDCAS system in along with the talk groups I want to listen to.
Looking at the data base when comes to Warrick Co EMS, SO, and City PD they have their system as well on UHF.
I am little confused on the Warrick CO listings, it appears they are now patches to Project SAFE-T ( Motorola) towers.
I also see where it looks like Evansville, Vanderburgh CO also has Talk Groups on the Project SAFE-T ( Motorola) System.
So here is my questions:
1.If I put some of the talk groups for Warrick CO under the Project SAFE-T ( Motorola ) System, < Co Fire Dispatch, EMS Dispatch, SO Dispatch, PD Dispatch and some of the Car to Cars, >Will I hear the same traffic as if had Warrick Co UHF Channel programed in my Scanner?
2.Should I add the Evansville Police, Evansville Fire, Vanderburgh, Sheriff, Operations and county wide from the Project SAFE-T ( Motorola ) System?
3.Has Evansville changed to Department radio calls < 1 Engine 1 = Evansville Fire Engine 1,>< 2 Sam 1 = South Side Patrol Beat Car,>< 3 Mike 23 a Vanderburgh Co SO unit> ?
4.Is ILEEN <155.475 > and point to point <155.370> still used a lot?
5.I saw a post a few month back, < Cant find it now> that there was plans for a 3rd tower for the Evansville EDCAS system, Is that operational yet?
Thank you advance for the input.
