Have a tk790H....I have channel1 as priority. I have channel 1 and 2 in a scan group - and it works as it should.....even if im listining to a conversation on channel 2, if somone keys up our company repeater it jumps over to channel 1. Cool.
The issue is a ticking sound. Only happens when in scan mode, and only i hear it from the speaker...(TX from my radio is unaffected. When listening in scan mode when my radio opens squelch i hear the person speaking fine but there is a tick tick tick tick....aprox once a second. It almost is like the radio is checking for traffic on the other channel and the tick is it checking. However, I dont think this is normal.
Any ideas?
