I apologize if this info is somewhere else. I attempted to search antenna but did not have any returns and when I looked at this thread it was blank. It even said I didn't have permission to post so this may not go anywhere.
Anyway I have a PSR-600. I listen to multiple departments in my county in Indiana but I also listen to some in a neighboring county.
The particular department I'm looking for uses the 800mhz safe-t system but will be going to P25 in the next couple of years.
I have Larsen special tri-band antenna for a car mount. I am looking for a new indoor antenna and figure I should probably stick with the 800mhz band.
Does anyone have any suggestions for a good indoor antenna to help me pick up the other counties radio traffic?
(I do not yet know where the tower is located in my county if you were thinking of a directional antenna. I posted that question in the Indiana thread and hope I can find out.)
