TK-780 Transmit Issue

I've run into a situation, I have had my 780 mobile for actually years and never had in issue, but I put it in my new truck, and narrowbanded it at the same time. Now it does not transmit (as if Tx pl is off) red LED, and even the green rec. LED on another radio, but doesn't open up the radio. My mobile though will receive with no issues though, someone said that he would check the ant. He put a meter in it and said its actually perfect. Not quiet sure what to make if it....... Any ideas to check into? I'm at a loss
