I am fairly new to the remote mount Orions. Can someone please tell me how much power an Orion radio needs. I am looking at hooking up a remote mount Orion and have a few questions:
1. The yellow wire on the remote mount cable, does that hook to the positive terminal in the battery?
2. Will a car battery trickle charger provide too much power to radio and the control head. (I just wanted to power it up before I mount it permanently and I do not have a power supply)
