In the words of our late President Ronald Reagan, "here we go again". In the most recent list of RR Database changes in Georgia, there is a change for the Western Area Regional Radio System. The change itself shows:
"(Changed Site # 002 (Coweta Co. Simulcast) to 002 (Coweta Co. Simulcast)"
Could someone who manages the database please explain to me what those of us who faithfully follow all database changes are supposed to do with this type change (which seems to happen often) and could you please explain what has happened that required this database change to be made? For simpletons like me, it looks like the removal of the pound-sign is the only change. Does that change translate into something that I should do in my scanner's programming that affects the operation of the scanner?
Thank you for clarifying this.
