BCD396XT Uniden BCD396T (Trunktracker IV)

Help Needed. I have a chance of an Uniden BCD396T (UK version UBC3500XLT), but the screen is broken with an dark smudge on it. Is there any way of repairing this damage? I am willing to have a go IF I can get or buy a screen. I Live in the UK, and may have a problem getting a screen on this side of the pond. If anyone knows were to get a screen from or has knowledge of how to repair this unit, please let me know. Thanks in hope
