This "New Cold War" with Russia is like we are back in the early 80's all over again. On July 18th a U.S. RC135 Rivet Joint spy plane was flying in international airspace when it was lit up by Russian radar and a Russian fighter was sent up to intercept the aircraft. The flight crew took evasive action when they noticed they were being tracked by radar and slipped into Sweden's airspace to avoid the fighter. Next time maybe we should try that same flight path using a B1-B escorted by a couple of U.S. fighters! That should get the Russians panties in a bunch real quick! ;)
