I have a Kenwood TK5310 uhf portable radio (450-512mhz) version 2. I am starting to notice an issue with my radio and not sure if it is the radio itself or if it is something in the programming. When I transmit to a unit the receiving transmission is cut off like 1 sec and I miss the beginning part of the message. When I am just monitoring a channel the same thing happens where the first second of the receiving transmission is cut off. Could it be something with the programming, like the mute hold time. I do have a priority channel programmed into the radio, not sure if that has something to do with it. Does anyone have an answer to this problem.
