Motorola DTR550s

So, is this the correct area for learning more about the Motorola DTR550s? I have some order and I want to learn more about them. Does anybody have any helpful suggestions on where to find out more? I realize that these are 900 mHz ISM, not FRS/GMRS, but none of the other sub-forums seem to fit.
