Silicone Versus Hard Leather

Today, I received an online newsletter from Main Trading Company. I saw the new Uniden digitals being sold there. So, since Scanner World is out of commission (carry great hard leather cases in past) and Scanner Master can't keep them in stock, I searched the site for a case. This little jewel popped up. I suppose this could be for any scanner or HAM radio specific to model. It might be possible to add a vinyl barrier over the keypad as well. It would work great for the occasion rain drop & drops to the floor. I wonder, are there people who could fashion such a case?
