Some things you just can't make up...
Was given a TK-8180-H-K2
Should be a 400-470MHz 45w radio.
So meanwhile at the programming computer, I down load the radio, and in the header bar in the KPG-89 software, it shows it to be a 450-520MHz K1... Go and check the radio information tab, and it is showing it to be, in fact, a 400-470MHz.
Someone goofed up before this radio came my way, and should be scolded... Thankfully he will no longer be programming anything for the group I got this radio from... And I'm pretty sure I know who it is... And he IS an ID10T... Lesson in this? Make sure when you send out your radio to be programmed, that it is going to be programmed by someone competent.
