Greetings everyone. I have been listening to scanners since the 70's and crystal days. I suppose they helped me wind us as a Paramedic for many years here in the twin cities, as well as a firefighter for a few.
I feel I have a pretty good grasp on the ARMER system and scanning and I have my 396xt programmed pretty good as far as I know. I know there are many out there who know much better than I do and that is what I am looking for.
I was wondering if someone would be willing to meet for an hour or so and help me understand all the little things I don't know, or have interpreted incorrectly. I have a vision of what I want to hear and how I want to set up my scanner, but I am unsure how to do so the most effectively. I would be willing to meet over lunch or something like that. I work in Brooklyn Park and live up by Stacy MN. I would be willing to buy.
I would like to look at my scanner and how it is set up and basically ask questions that I think I understand but would like it explained like I was a 3rd grade LOL.
I currently use freescan so I could send the file in advance to be looked at.
I appreciate all the help in advance.
