One of the many complaints I hear, time and again, is that learning MediaWiki is a tough nut to crack, and it's a turnoff.
I just started using Libre Office instead of the overpriced Micro-stupid Office, and found a pleasant surprise - that it has a method of changing a document and publishing it in MediaWiki format.
As I am about to start a rather detailed project (which I'll talk about later), I'm thinking of using this function, but would like to hear from others who have used this function. I would expect it to be fairly limited - probably wouldn't do tables all that well, but for basic headers, footers, links and so on, I suspect it will work just fine.
