Can anyone shed some light on why there seems to be little interest on the part of the talented developers to write something which follows the aforementioned protocols? Please do not get me wrong, I certainly appreciate the work that has/is being done by those who provide the current programs out there.
I was just wondering why nothing has emerged.
Is it due to complexity, or is it legal restraints. I would think it would be a fun project for someone to take on, and certainly be quite popular among those of us who use the programs these folks provide.
I saw where the DSD+ crew has something brewing. But I seriously wonder if we will hear anything more from them as they were immediately set upon by malcontents shortly after announcing their latest developments.
I figure there is either little interest or the technology may be too new or difficult. Does anyone have any clues why this isn't something being actively pursued?
