I have 2 systems defined in my 536HP The first system is a P25 county radio system the 2nd is an analog fire dispatch.
I noticed today that if I set my squelch set to 0 that it scans both systems (both will scroll by on the display and the 1 and 2 will flash in the S0: area. If I raise the squelch above 1 then the scrolling stops (only the first system displays) and only the 1 flashes.
Is this correct? am I no longer scanning the analog system at that point? This may be perfectly normal but it doesn't seem to make sense to me. At no point does the squelch break with static.
