Will Uniden be able to help me?

I have a pro505xl cb and it looks like the back antenna connection is loose. It really screws up the reception and the number of watts displayed on screen. In order to get reception, I have to jiggle it upwards to display watts.



In the owners manual it clearly says it the warranty that I they will only repair manufacturing defects. Does this mean I have a problem and can't send It two them under my warranty? Or will I have to pay some flat rate repair price?
