visar battery impres charger

Hey guys, I just purchased a brand new visar battery model AP-7395h Ni-MY 7.2 V 2000mAh and the adapter for my impres charger, yet when I set the battery in the charger, nothing happens (no charging, no lights) is there something else I need to do ? I don't really want to buy a separate charger just for the KVL3000.



Any help ideas would be appreciated.
