Mesa PD Talkgroups

Does anyone monitor Mesa PD on a regular basis that can help me understand HOT channel usage? Here are the Mesa PD talkgroups listed in the DB for TRWC:



3000 D District 1 Patrol

3001 E District 1 TAC

3002 E District 1 HOT (Encrypted)

3003 D District 2 Patrol

3004 E District 2 TAC

3005 D District 1 HOT

3006 D District 3 Patrol

3007 E District 3 TAC

3009 D District 4 Patrol

3010 E District 4 TAC

3011 E District 4 HOT



Patrol talkgroups are accurate, but I’m wondering about HOT channels. Here are my questions:



3002 Encrypted – Is this only used for District 1, or do all Districts use this talkgroup for HOT calls?

3005 – DB lists this as NOT encrypted. Is this talkgroup really in the clear?

3005 – Is this only used by District 1? Is it used by District 2, 3, or 4?

3008 – Talkgroup is not listed in the DB. I’m guessing if this is a valid talkgroups, it is encrypted. Anyone caught 3008 active? Is this District 3 HOT?
