I acquired these radios yesterday and I want to confirm that the information I learned about them is correct. They came without manuals, microphones or any other documentation.
The GM300, Model No. M33GMC00D2AA, is a 10-25 watt, VHF (146-174MHz,) 8 Channel, narrow band capable radio and the CM300, Model no. AAM50RNF9AA1AN, is a 25 watt, UHF (438-470 MHz) radio, also narrow band capable.
I was thinking about donating them to the local railroad museum, but since the CM300 is UHF, it seems a better idea to keep them for possible future ham use.
If any of the Motorola experts could here confirm my findings, I'd appreciate it.
