Conspiracy Theorists............ PFFT!

okay, now im in here posting... first time rant of my own.

Conspiracy Theroists = make me want to friggin puke and rip my hair out!!

lets see where do we start:

ive got like 4 friends of mine on FaceBook....... definitely conspiracy supporters!! now these are good friends, but damn!!

CHEMTrails <--- HAHAHAHAHAHA!! according to every post i see about "CHEM" ( Chemical ) Trails.... i cannot contain my laughter and sometimes almost real hatred towards these people.

being i have many years of first hand piloting ( Helicopters, for CAP ) experience.... i cannot fathom this crap!!

CHEM ( actually CON ) Trails are merely ice crystals in the form of a soli.............. not even going to explain it right now! im pretty sure most of you can figure out where im going with this.

EMR - from cell phones and wifi AP's causing cancer <-- ok this is my latest peeve!! one of my BEST friends has joined the theorists on this one... ( shame on her ) posting an article about some painter who envisioned "Wifi" signals and what they would "look" like to a human eye if EMF was visible to eyesight. who then went on to write this:

quoted from : This is What Wi-Fi Looks Like | RiseEarth

Quote:

Wifi is an energy field that is transmitted as waves. The waves have a certain height, distance between them and travel at a certain speed. The distance between wifi waves is shorter than that of radio waves and longer than that of microwaves, giving wifi a unique transmission band that can't be interrupted by other signals. This image shows an idealized wifi data transmitted over a band that is divided into different sub-channels, which are shown in red, yellow, green and other colors.

okay, this guy, is obviously a idiot to a level BEYOND idiot

"The distance between wifi waves is shorter than that of radio waves and longer than that of microwaves, giving wifi a unique transmission band that can't be interrupted by other signals."

last i checked, WiFi uses 2.4GHz primarily.....? Microwave ovens use 2.4 GHz and a PLETHORA of Cordless Phones use 2.4 GHz .

that being said... how does WiFi have a "Unique Transmission Band that CANNOT be interrupted by other signals?"

i was soooo ROTFLMAO! i was crying heavily at the laughter i could not contain at this.

my initial response to this article by my friend:

hey *REMOVED*............

okay lets break this down.... yes im about to get very technical here so try to stay with me:

Lets see... Certain Height? not really

Distance between them: yes, that's called the frequency

Travel at a certain speed: okay yes, known as Speed of Light

this is the good part.....

The distance between wifi is shorter than radio waves........ ummm NO, WiFi ARE RADIO WAVES!!! and then..... longer than Microwaves........ SERIOUSLY!!! 2.4 GHz IS MICROWAVE!! look up any consumer grade microwave oven and see what frequency the "Magnetron" ( the device that creates the microwave energy to cook the food ) transmits at!!

"Giving Wifi a unique transmission that cant be interrupted by other signals" HAHAHAHAHAHA!! BS!!

ANY RADIO FREQUENCY HAS THE ABILITY TO CAUSE INTERFERENCE TO ANY OTHER FREQUENCY!!!

why do you think most techies will tell you not to put a 2.4 GHz cordless telephone, or microwave oven near a router that broadcasts Wifi?

geee .. i wonder?

lastly: divided into "sub-channels" ..... dayum this guy is a idiot!!

they are not "SUB" channels. they are plain out simple channels, divided by discrete frequencies

each channel is separated by frequency:

1 2412 MHz

2 2417 MHz

3 2422 MHz

4 2427 MHz

5 2432 MHz

6 2437 MHz

7 2442 MHz

8 2447 MHz

9 2452 MHz

10 2457 MHz

11 2462 MHz

now.......

lets get into the EMR "Pollution" ( Electro-Magnetic Radiation ) part of it.

Your typical consumer grade router that broadcasts your everyday Wifi puts out about 76-110 mW of power. that is 1/10th of a watt approximately.

think about your Microwave oven that i described earlier that uses the SAME frequency band as WiFi........ whats the average rating of a Microwave Oven? ohhh about 500-1000 WATTS ! full watts, not Milli-Watts !! even cell phones! A cell tower doesnt even push the same power as a microwave Oven! most towers operate @ less than 100 Watts and even then, a cell phone cannot push harder than 4 watts.

even now, how about your typical FM radio station? they can put out as high as 150KW!! thats 150,000 Watts!! want to further push? a FM Station is the MOST polluting EMR Source in this country..... NOT wifi, not Cell Phones....

so, thats the lesson for today.

Thank you come again!!!

now comes another friend's reply who is friends with both of us:

Quote:

Thank for the lesson. But what are we going to do , what can we do?

my response:

Quote:

what do you need to do? stop feeding conspiracy theorists about non-sense crap they feed you with....... why do you think no one has DIED yet from using a cell phone due to EMR? because its all a conspiracy theory, they do nothing but incite fear into unknowing people. good to see you !!

now, OP Friends reply:

Quote:

Plenty of people are getting cancer and migraines and a host of other problems...

response:

cancer was proven a theory.....

#1 - quoted from WHO | World Health Organization

"to date, no adverse health effects have been established as being caused by mobile phone use. Including onset of cancerous growths and tumors in and/or around the brain."

#2 - quoted from various sources compiled into one large report

"In 2006 a large Danish group's study about the connection between mobile phone use and cancer incidence was published. It followed over 420,000 Danish citizens for 20 years and showed no increased risk of cancer. A 2011 follow-up confirmed these findings.

The following studies of long time exposure have been published:

The 13 nation INTERPHONE project – the largest study of its kind ever undertaken – was published in 2011 and did not find a solid link between mobile phones and brain tumours.

The International Journal of Epidemiology published a combined data analysis from a multi national population-based case-control study of glioma and meningioma, the most common types of brain tumour.

The authors reported the following conclusion:

Overall, no increase in risk of glioma or meningioma was observed with use of mobile phones.

A number of independent health and government authorities have commented on this important study including The Australian Centre for Radiofrequency Bioeffects Research (ACRBR) which said in a statement that:

Until now there have been concerns that mobile phones were causing increases in brain tumours. Interphone is both large and rigorous enough to address this claim, and it has not provided any convincing scientific evidence of an association between mobile phone use and the development of glioma or meningioma.

The Australian Radiation Protection and Nuclear Safety Agency (ARPANSA) which said in a statement that:

On the basis of current understanding of the relationship between brain cancer and use of mobile phones, including the recently published data from the INTERPHONE study, ARPANSA:

The Cancer Council Australia said in a statement that it cautiously welcomed the results of the largest international study to date into mobile phone use, which has found no evidence that normal use of mobile phones, for a period up to 12 years, can cause brain cancer.

Chief Executive Officer, Professor Ian Olver, said findings from the Interphone study, conducted across 13 countries including Australia, were consistent with other research that had failed to find a link between mobile phones and cancer.

This supports previous research showing mobile phones don’t damage cell DNA, meaning they can’t cause the type of genetic mutations that develop into cancer,” Professor Olver said.

need i go on?

i added another comment hours later:

SCIENCE - 1 vs. Conspiracy Theories - 0

okay now: a theory has arisen even here on RR it can be found in Tavern about a new FB Mobile Feature................
