This may be a design flaw. It's a critical issue for me. Now that the text tag names can contain commas on the BCDX36HP scanners which is a good thing. Parsing the GLG data seems to be impossible. There is no way to detect the system/site, department, and channel with commas in the names. Parsing the STS data is not an issue due to the fixed length of 36.
Can a future firmware update change commas in the text tag names with another ASCII code (1 to 31 or above 127) coming out the serial port to make it so software can parse the GLG data and change back the new ASCII code with commas
