Have noticed that there appears to be no activity from the Central State (Wilberforce) Ohio MARCS-IP site. I see no activity, including a Control Channel signal, on any of the 4 700 MHz band frequencies listed in the RR database. I haven't been checking that closely, but I think its been offline for a few weeks.
Can anyone else confirm this?
Was wondering if this is a temporary or permanent condition? It's my understanding that all the radios capable of operating on the 700 MHz P25 system are also capable of operating on a 800 MHz P25 system. Are they relying on the coverage of the multiple towers in the Greene County Simulcast sub-system to provide the coverage formerly provided the single 700 MHz tower in Wilberforce?
